Live Stream Record and Playback
The Mirror Image® Live Stream Record and Playback Service allows companies to deliver a live video stream to desktops, smartphones and other mobile devices, while at the same time, record the video stream for later playback.
For Live Recording, the Client Encoder sends a live video stream to the Mirror Image® Encoder Access Point. The live stream is recorded to local disk and replicated across globally distributed, Video On Demand Storage, while end users view the live event with our globally load balanced, Live Stream Service URL.
Within 15 minutes after the live event completes, the recorded stream is available on Mirror Image’s globally distributed, Video On Demand Storage, and can be accessed by video players with our globally load balanced, Video On Demand Service URL.
