Mobile Advertising Delivery Verification

The Interactive Advertising Bureau and the Mobile Marketing Association publish specific guidelines on measuring mobile web advertising impressions. The Mobile Advertising Solution provides support for the various recommended techniques to confirm successful delivery of mobile ads for billing and verification purposes, greatly reducing billing errors. 

The solution can retrieve each ad's HTML object, and modify the response object by appending information extracted from query arguments in the request.   Each request generates a unique entry in the log file that contains data for the Date, Time, Client-IP address, Request URL, User-Agent, Referrer URL and other attributes. The solution can also check whether a request is originating from a user or a robot by validating the User-Agent string of the visitor against the IAB whitelist and blacklist data in real time. In this way, advertisers can be assured of the accuracy of the advertising billing reports they receive.
