Geo-Targeting

The Mirror Image’s geo-targeting capabilities enable customers to control business logic based on the geographic attributes of the request. The capabilities automatically and anonymously identify the location of each visitor based on the IP address in real time. Using the data as selection criteria, customers can programmatically deliver regionalized promotions and messages, control access to online assets from globally distributed servers, and support multichannel merchandising via regional promotions, for example. The capabilities can also determine each visitor's preferred language automatically, based on the browser-specified language preference and the defined selection rules, and deliver content in real-time in the appropriate language. It is also being used to help organizations restrict access and comply with contracts, laws and regulations that govern distribution of certain products and services to specific geographical regions.
