Advertising Billing Verification
The Mirror Image Edge Computing Advertising Billing Verification Solution used to confirm delivery of online ads for billing verification purposes. The Solution retrieves the ad's HTML object, and, using query arguments in the request URL, appends a tag to the end of the retrieved HTML object. The resulting file is sent in the response to the request.
Each request can write a unique entry in the log file, with data for the following fields:
- Date
- Time
- Client-IP address
- Request URL
- User-Agent
- Referrer URL
The Solution is used by various online advertising solution providers, affiliate networks, and others.
