Dynamically create custom video and audio playlists (SMIL, mobile SMIL, VAST, VPAID, etc.) in real-time based on visitor preferences, request attributes and any other data to create highly targeted streaming experiences for every visitor.

You can customize the experience for each visitor (for example to serve a different version of the homepage, change the language preference, and serve different content) based on the geographic location of each visitor. We maintain detailed IP-to-Geo databases at all locations on our network to provide the lowest latency lookups and response times.
Similar to Geo-Targeting, you can prevent specific content from being served to certain geographies, and at certain times, to comply with rules, licensing restrictions, etc.
Customers use Mirror Image Edge Computing to identify the specific mobile device type and any of its capabilities (e.g. screen size) for every request and programmatically select or customize content for each device in real time, providing each visitor with an optimized experience. We also automatically optimize a single H.264 encoded asset for different players and devices, eliminating the need for multiple encoded assets when supporting multiple device types.

We provide powerful data collection and logging capabilities that can capture any visitor request data, and are not blocked by ad blockers (Google Analytics and the other analytics tags are often blocked by the ad blockers). Since our capabilities are not affected by ad blockers, we provide more accurate (and higher) visitor metrics that can be used to augment or replace your existing site analytics.
You can collect and record custom, granular traffic information on your websites, including visitor attributes (such as cookie values, for example) and request attributes (e.g. header information), as well as visitor actions on partner websites, from mobile applications, and via any other web and mobile content. The service can perform optional data lookups and filtering using various third-party databases including mobile device information, spiders and robots detection, geo-IP information, and others.
Mirror Image subsequently deletes all of your visitor data from its servers, eliminating any data privacy or leakage issues.
Front End Optimization
Improving website performance, including Time to First Byte (TTFB) and page load times can have a direct impact on visitor metrics and revenue. Our Edge Computing service can improve your website’s performance by applying a variety of “front end content optimization” techniques, including file compression, code minification, reducing HTTP connections, and others, reducing TTFP and page load times.
Our Geographically Distributed Database as a Service (DBaaS) implementation allows you to replicate, store, and access (for both read and write access) your custom data sets globally, on our worldwide network, to enable the fastest performance for your use cases that require access to “big data.”
While a server side GUID database can support vastly larger data sets than cookies, it often results in performance problems when the local data center processing a request must reach “off-box” to a distant data center housing the visitor data needed to process the request. In the advertising world, for example, reducing these latencies can mean the difference between success and failure. Our Geographically Distributed Database as a Service is a fully managed service that eliminates these performance problems by locating active database servers – each with a complete and fully replicated copy of the data at all times – in each of our worldwide locations, providing the highest end-to-end performance regardless of each visitor’s location and ensuring a consistent end-user experience across all data centers at all times.
